There is no single menu that fits everyone with type 2 diabetes. A useful nutrition plan considers glucose response, overall dietary quality, energy needs, preferences, medications and other health conditions.
Focus on patterns, not miracle foods
Commercial diabetes marketing often elevates individual foods into villains or cures. A more useful approach is to examine the whole dietary pattern, portion/energy intake where relevant, fiber-rich foods, carbohydrate quality and how meals interact with medication and activity.
Use glucose information carefully
Glucose monitoring can help some people understand patterns, but targets and testing schedules should be individualized. Unexpected highs or lows warrant appropriate clinical guidance.

Sources & editorial basis
Health statements are written conservatively from authoritative sources including the U.S. National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). Product/package statements are attributed to the Diabetes Freedom merchant and checked against its public sales materials. Commercial details can change.
